red dot design award
More than 4000 entries spanning across 40 countries make the annual
red dot design award one of the most prestigious design competitions in the world.
Each year an international jury of renowned designers and design experts is picked to review and evaluate the submitted products according to criteria such as degree of innovation, functionality and quality. This ensures the seriousness of the competition and its international acceptance.
The award is presented annually to "international design teams which continuously produce innovative work". Since his appointment in 2005, Paul Flowers has led the team to phenomenal success, culminating in this well-deserved accolade.
And with the list of previous recipients reading like a veritable who’s who in the world of design, GROHE is in good company. Apple, Nokia, Bose, Mercedes-Benz, Siemens, Adidas, BMW, Audi and Sony are just a few of the big names to have won the award.

Europe 40 under 40® is an annual awards program that celebrates the next new talented generation of European designers. The program is directed to support new and emerging design talent that will influence the near future of European design, thinking, and theory with the direct consequence of impacting future environments and the future of European and international design.
